Foothills Community Christian School Banquet 2026

An Evening of Purpose, Community, and Christ-Centered Vision

Foothills Community Christian School recently hosted its annual banquet, bringing together families, supporters, educators, and community members for an evening centered on faith, fellowship, and the continued mission of Christ-centered education.

The event not only celebrated the impact of the school, but also reinforced the importance of investing in the lives of students—spiritually, academically, and personally. Attendees experienced a meaningful night of connection, encouragement, and shared vision for the future.

A Message That Resonated

The highlight of the evening was a keynote presentation from Dr. Kathy Koch, a nationally recognized author and speaker known for her work in child development and biblical worldview education.

Dr. Koch delivered a compelling and insightful message focused on identity, purpose, and the role of Christian education in shaping the next generation. She emphasized that every child is created by God intentionally and uniquely, with a specific purpose.

Drawing from Scripture, she reminded attendees that children must understand not only what they are capable of doing, but more importantly, who they are in Christ. In a culture often filled with confusion and competing messages, Dr. Koch encouraged families and educators to anchor children in truth—pointing them back to their Creator as the ultimate source of identity and direction.

The Value of Christ-Centered Education

Throughout the evening, the mission of Foothills Community Christian School was clearly reflected: to educate the whole child through a biblical foundation.

Dr. Koch affirmed the importance of schools that go beyond academics to develop character, integrity, and faith. She highlighted that true education is not simply about subjects or achievements, but about forming individuals who understand their God-given design and are equipped to live it out with purpose.

Her message aligned closely with the school’s commitment to nurturing students who demonstrate strong moral character, servant leadership, and a Christ-centered worldview.

Guiding Students Toward Purpose

One of the most impactful portions of Dr. Koch’s presentation included a framework of five key questions that families and educators can use to guide students toward a deeper understanding of their calling:

  • What problems do you want to help solve?

  • What people do you want to serve?

  • What breaks your heart?

  • What brings you joy?

  • What do you want your life to matter for?

These questions shift the focus from traditional career paths to a broader perspective of purpose, encouraging students to think intentionally about how they can use their gifts to serve others and honor God.

Strengthening Community and Vision

In addition to the keynote address, the banquet provided an opportunity for attendees to experience firsthand the sense of community that defines Foothills. Conversations, shared stories, and student involvement throughout the evening highlighted the relational strength and supportive environment that the school fosters.

The event also served as an important reminder that Christian education is a collective effort—made possible through the generosity, prayer, and partnership of families and community members.

Looking Ahead

As Foothills Community Christian School continues to grow and serve students in the Great Falls area, the banquet reinforced a shared commitment to its mission: equipping young people to live with faith, purpose, and conviction.

The evening concluded with gratitude for all who support the school and a renewed vision for the impact it will continue to have in the lives of students and families.

Foothills remains dedicated to preparing the next generation—not only for academic success, but for lives rooted in truth, guided by faith, and committed to serving others.
